Fall 2006 - Spring 2007

For a retrospective of the american artist Felix Gonzalez- Torres in Berlins Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, the biggest museum for contemporary art in Berlin, the NGBK (Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst) approached students of Weißensee to come up with a concept for an archival system that should help visitors of the exhibition to decipher the multiple political, personal and cultural references and layers in Gonzalez-Torres minimalist work.

We developed a multi-layered approach to offer the visitors an inclusive platform that allowed exploration, research, and learning.

The archive was built on-site and accompanied the retrospective until it‘s end.
